COVID-19 UPDATES
Monday, 13th July 2020
UQ Boxing is excited to announce that we will be returning to training from Tuesday 21st July 2020! Initially, we will return with a special two-week interim timetable. We will continue to train on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays however, the start and end times will be slightly shifted. We will be posting the timetable this Friday once UQ Sport has confirmed the time slots.
There will be no sign on required during Stage 3 restrictions, just turn up.
Please keep in mind, as we as a club adjust to the new guidelines and restrictions mandated by the Queensland Government and the University of Queensland, including UQ Sport, that things may be a little different to usual.
We understand that in these uncertain times, your mental health can take a hit so we do encourage you to seek help from the Student Advisers or Counselling, either in person or via Skype. You can make an appointment online.
All 10-trip passes are still valid. Any Semester 1 2020 Passes, will remain valid until the end of 2020, please bring proof of purchase (your Semester 1 2020 Pass Card).
Any pressing questions? Send a message to our Facebook page or on our website.

Two (2) sleeps to go until our first session back on Tuesday 21st July!

UQ Sport and QLD Health have communicated additional information to sporting clubs over the last few days. Although this may seem like 'more of the same' information, it really is important we don't become complacent.
These new guidelines and arrangements are intended to prevent and reduce the transmission of COVID-19 among members and the broader community. All activities we undertake as club must be conducted in accordance with our UQ Sport-approved COVID-Safe plan and QLD Health directives. Failure to comply can result in significant consequences for your or others health and safety, as well as consequences for UQ Boxing.

We understand there are so many new guidelines and structures in place, we are here to help. Ask an exec or coach if you're unsure, we are always happy to help!

We are in this together, as a club, and as the broader community. We thank you for your patience and understanding during this time, as we are doing our best to give you the best experience possible.
